Our Story

The Chocolate Maven is owned by husband and wife team, executive chefs Dharm Andrew Segal and Cassie Ramos who began baking in their home garage, and have developed the establishment, services and menu for the past 30 years.


We believe that the mood and positive vibe of an establishment makes its food taste better. We celebrate natural ingredients and old fashioned artisan baking in an atmosphere of charm, delight and integrity.

Our company culture is one of goodwill, good food and the togetherness that food encourages. We are blessed with a profound team of talent, many of who us have been with the company for decades. And we are always striving to improve.

Natural & Delicious

We never use bleached flour or hydrogenated oils. Many items can be ordered vegan and gluten free and we welcome your dietary needs with respect and care. We serve consciously sourced ingredients in our restaurant including organic eggs, organic coffee drinks right down to the milk in your latte, organic iced tea, free range meats and many local ingredients.
