ABOUT THE MAVEN
The Maven is a must see for Santa Fe visitors and a familiar spot for our regulars and locals. We feel honored to have been featured on the Food Network, Conde Nast Traveller, Fodors and many other media outlets.
The Maven started fifty years ago as a tiny Santa Fe pastry shop known for brownies, hot chocolate and late night poetry readings. Now we have grown into a full service restaurant, featuring natural food, awesome atmosphere, and an award winning regional bakery.
Our success is because of our people. We have a profound team of talent and we are always striving to improve. Many of us have been with the company for decades and more recently new bright faces have joined us. Our company culture is one of goodwill, good food and the togetherness that food encourages.
The Maven has been nurtured and developed for over 27 years by husband and wife team, owners and executive chefs Dharm and Gurukiren Khalsa (Andrew Segal and Virginia Ramos) who began the bakery in their home garage, and have developed the establishment, services and menu over the years into its current form.

We serve consciously sourced ingredients including organic eggs, organic coffee drinks right down to the milk in your latte, organic iced tea, free range meats and many local ingredients. We never use bleached flour or hydrogenated oils. Many items can ordered gluten free and we welcome your dietary needs with respect and care.
