ABOUT THE MAVEN
The Maven has been featured on the Food Network, Conde Nast Traveller, Fodors and many other media outlets, including winning "Best of Santa Fe" for 19 years straight. We feature natural ingredients and old fashioned artisan baking in an atmosphere of charm, delight and integrity.
The Maven started fifty years ago as a tiny Santa Fe pastry shop known for brownies, hot chocolate and late night poetry readings. We have grown into a magical bakery that provides deliciousness by shipping all over the USA, as well as our local Santa Fe customers from our shop. We have a full service restaurant open for brunch, breakfast and lunch where customers have a view into the bakery in action. Please come visit when you are in town.
We have a profound team of talent and we are always striving to improve. Our company culture is one of goodwill, good food and the togetherness that food encourages. Many of us have been with the company for decades.
For 27 years the Maven has been nurtured by husband and wife team, owners and executive chefs Dharm and Gurukiren (Andrew Skotting Segal and Virginia Ramos) who began baking in their home garage, and have developed the establishment, services and menu over the years.

We never use bleached flour or hydrogenated oils. Many items can ordered vegan and gluten free and we welcome your dietary needs with respect and care. We serve consciously sourced ingredients in our restaurant including organic eggs, organic coffee drinks right down to the milk in your latte, organic iced tea, free range meats and many local ingredients.
