Safety Update

The bakery is open for all baked goods and new ready to go soups, salads, wraps and quiche.  Our dining room has been closed as we wait for test results that are coming in slowly, but will reopen for breakfast on Monday October 26th at 8 am.

As has become increasingly common with businesses in New Mexico, earlier this week one of our staff tested positive for Covid-19 and as a result we have taken the time to wait for covid test results for our entire Maven team and to deep clean and sanitize. The length of time that small businesses are forced to wait test results is extremely difficult for small operations such as ours, yet of course we want to ensure everyone's safety.  


The staff member was not in direct contact with any customers, and is quarantining at home. Neither the CDC nor Governor's office are recommending that customers be tested in situations like this, and our production closure was voluntary. Nevertheless, we felt it important to convey that we are taking measures that are above and beyond the state guidelines and are communicating this information here as a courtesy to our guests.


We want everyone to feel safe, welcome, and cared for at the Chocolate Maven. We will continue to keep a close eye on the situation and make adjustments if necessary. The health and well-being of our customers, team, and community are of utmost importance to us and will continue to be our north star as we navigate the road ahead.
